Laminated Conveyor Belts

Laminated conveyor belts offer a high dimension stability, they are ideal for applications with a lot of mechanical stress (shrinking products, wide machines, high tensile stress). The advantages despite the dimension stability are the easy guiding of the belts and the reduced thickness compared to single ply belts. This guarantees a good heat transfer. As a standard 2-ply belts are offered but the number of plys can be increased up to four. The multi-ply belts are available in widths up to 3,5 m.

The conveyor belts can be produced endless or they can be welded in the machine. Several joint systems are available such as a finger joint or an overlapped joint.

Only for multi-ply belts a special UVN joint with very little thickening can processed.

Release your Problems! Multi-ply conveyor belts up to 3 m width can be fitted with the Magic Surface, a melt processable PTFE film. The sealing offers high belt lifetimes and less wear, especially if products based on PP, PE or EVA are processed on the conveyor belts.
